mars – hmm… maybe I’m mistaken actually. I did think there was some animated trees and birds that were overlaid onto the commercial. But I definitely saw this commercial at beginning of November, if not earlier. So maybe Civic used two versions of the song or something?

i am mistaken. civic did indeed use that song for their commercial awhile back. i was under the impression you were talking about their most recent ad, with the animated trees and birds. this most recent ad started airing in december, and it is definitely not the grandaddy song they are using here.

i have heard that nature anthem song, and the lyrics are completely different to what is sung in the commercial. although it sounds similiar, it is not the same song.
